Target Area

The target areas of KTS are the five districts of the Karnali Province and five neighboring districts Dailekh, Jajarkot, Surkhet, Rukum Paschim and Salyan. Few seats are given for free competition from all over the country. Entrance examination for TSLC is on the month of Ashwin while for diploma level it is on shrawan. For TSLC program minimum entry qualification is SLC fail while for diploma level I.Sc. Ag. entry qualification is at least 45% in SLC examination while for the diploma in civil engineering entry qualification is at least SLC pass. The entrance examination centers are in the district head quarters of all seven target districts. All the applicants have to go through written as well as viva examination. Women, economical disadvantaged, dalit, orphans, martyrs family, disables are given priority
